1. Scope
The JT-60SA tokamak experiment is going to start, and the ITER construction has been continued. DEMO reactors designs have been also performed. Thus MHD activity measurement and control in long-pulse operations are getting more important. Not only from various tokamaks, but also from stellarators such as LHD as well as devices of other types, we have gained knowledges and techniques of MHD activity measurement and control. Through the presentations and discussions on experiments, theoretical analyses and simulations, we will further achieve understandings on the MHD activity measurement and control in long-pulse operations.
2. Review / Overview presentations (Morning session of JST)
=== Title is tentative ===
"Current status of JT-60SA and recent MHD research activities in QST"
"Recent topics on MHD phyics from the LHD experiments"
"Recent Progress in 3D & Stability Physics at DIII-D"
"On recent topics of Disruption"
"Overview of 3d tokamak physics"
"Theoretical and Numerical Properties of Extended MHD: Importance of Electron Inertia"
3. Lecture presentations (Afternoon session of JST)
=== Title is tentative ===
"Measurement of MHD activity by using Probes"
"Analysis of MHD activity by using Imaging system"
"Parity of MHD fluctuations"
"Introduction of MHD research on Helical plasmas"
====== still nominating =======
4. Call for papers
